Goals from Radamel Falcao, Diego Costa and Cristian Rodriguez gave Atletico Madrid a win over Real Valladolid at Jose Zorilla stadium on Sunday evening. The home side failed to find their rhythm in this one and on numerous occasions failed to even make a short pass. Atletico’s first chance came within five minutes of the start as Falcao found space on the edge of the area to fire in a left footed shot but Dani Hernandez was equal to it.
