Jonas scored twice to secure Valencia a 2-2 draw at 10-man Real Zaragoza on Saturday, provisionally lifting the team into fifth place. Antonio "Apono" Galdeano drove a spot kick into the lower right corner to give Zaragoza the lead five minutes in after Victor Ruiz fouled Helder Postiga in the area. Postiga's headed goal doubled the advantage in the 32nd, but Jonas pulled one back from a cross by Ali Cissokho four minutes later. Jonas made good on Valencia's second-half dominance when he tapped in a free kick headed on by Ruiz in the 69th.
